Watch The Coyotes Goalie Take A Monster Hit To The Face, Keep On Ticking

So there Mike Smith was, minding his business -- namely, playing goalie for the Coyotes in first round of the NHL playoffs -- when the Blackhawks' Andrew Shaw came around the net and cracked Smith in the head. And although Smith would go down, he would not stay out.
This hit cost Shaw the rest of the game, as he was assessed a major penalty and sent off. Though, in the Coyote center's defense, he didn't look like he was made the hit purposely, or with any malicious intent.
Smith would end up staying in the game, because what's a hit to the head when there's playoff hockey to play?
Shaw's reaction after the game was one of remorse. "I came in on the forecheck. He played the puck and I tried to get out of the way and unfortunately I made contact – not that I meant to or anything... I'm just glad he was OK and he played the rest of the game." He would have been especially upset if his team lost as well, but thankfully for him the Blackhawks pulled out a 4-3 overtime win.
