Vice Sports Apologizes For Patrick Kane Post
The difficulty with being "edgy" is that you run the risk of falling off the thin line you're walking and landing squarely on your face. Vice Sports learned this the hard way Thursday night after nearly everyone who saw their Facebook post was offended by the flippant "she said no" caption for an article about Patrick Kane's accuser's decision to stop pursuing rape charges against the Chicago Blackhawks forward.
Though this was clearly a reference to the inappropriate chants of rival fans, it was in no way necessary (or funny). This might sound crazy, but sometimes you just have to leave the rape joke sitting on the sidelines.

At least Vice is smart enough to know when they made a mistake.
An earlier FB post referenced a chant directed at Patrick Kane. It was an inappropriate use, since corrected. We regret the error.
