Brexit II: Parents Choose To Skip Son’s Wedding To Watch Other Son Play In Euro 16
Controversy rages in Britain at this hour, and it's not over the decision to leave the European Union, or Tony Blair's desperate need to moisturize. A Welsh couple have decided to skip their son's wedding in Mexico in order to attend their other son's Euro 16 soccer match, as Wales plays Portugal in France in the semis.
The drama played out on Good Morning Britain today (last night to us) as co-host Piers Morgan said it was perfectly logical for the parents to choose soccer over their son's wedding. Wales defender Chris Gunter meets Portugal in France on Thursday -- the same day his brother, Marc Gunter, is getting married in Mexico.
Hosts Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins were shocked and dismayed. As were most viewers.

To make matters worse, Chris Gunter is his brother's best man. He'll do the honors by Skype. But it's not really Chris who is causing the controversy -- he can't be faulted for sticking with his team. It's his parents who are taking the fallout. As they should. You can watch the game on TV.
If you ever feel unloved, Chris Gunter's brother is getting married today and their parents are in France watching Chris play football.

@andylines ask Ollly Murrs how that ends...

OK, so Olly Murs is a singer/songwriter who rose to fame in 2009 as a contestant on the British version of X-Factor. From Wikipedia:
He also has a twin brother named Ben, who has been estranged from the family since 2009. Murs stated on The Jonathan Ross Show in March 2015 that Ben was also estranged from their parents, and that the incident stemmed from him not being able to attend his brother's wedding because of X Factor commitments.
