Dutch Soccer Player’s Phone Blows Up In Nightmare Swarm Of Instagram Notifications
For most of us, receiving a notification that someone "liked" or "shared" or "commented" one of you social media post is fun. "Hooray, not all people hate me!" you might exclaim under your breath when you see that someone has approved of the picture you took of your cat staring blankly out the window. "I did an internet good!" you may shout from your cubicle after your phone tells you that you now have that critical 57th follower. But for celebrities, these notifications are more than just an encouraging sign that their lives might be of some value. They're kind of a nuisance.
In fact, if someone even slightly famous turns on their Instagram app's push notifications, their phone is turned into seizure-inducing paperweight. Just ask former Netherlands National Team midfielder Demy de Zeeuw, who posts soccer-related videos to the 8 million followers of his 433 account. They seem to REALLY appreciate his content.
When you post epic content on instagram.com/433 8 million followers, this is how your pushnotification will look like..
