Manchester United’s Luke Shaw Gets His Leg Snapped In Half During UCL Match
Just fifteen minutes into Manchester United's Champions League opener against the Dutch Eredivisie's PSV Eindhoven, defender Luke Shaw was taken down by Hector Moreno with a slide tackle that struck the lower part of his leg with enough force to break it. He was carted off while receiving oxygen.

Shaw has been taken to a hospital where is currently being treated for a double fracture. The poor kid is only 20 years old, and these types of injuries can have a profound effect on a player's career (see: Arsenal's Eduardo da Silva) so it's particularly unfortunate to see this happen in his first UCL match -- though Aaron Ramsey managed to come back from a similarly gruesome break. He seems in optimistic, however, which is half the battle of recovering from such a debilitating compound fracture.
Thank you everyone for your messages , words can't describe how gutted I am , my road to recovery starts now, I will come back stronger.
