Justin Bieber Played Soccer In Barcelona With Neymar & He’s Actually Pretty Good
Justin Bieber has been relentlessly successful and impossibly famous since he was a mere 14 years old. So I have no idea when he had the time while growing up to become good at anything other than music; but he did it nevertheless.
While in Barcelona, Spain for the European leg of his world tour, the 22-year-old pop phenom decided to hit the practice pitch with a few of his buddies on FC Barcelona. Joined by Neymar and Rafinha, the left-footed Bieber took some impressive shots on goal, took a turn in the net and even showed off some sick juggling.
Fun Fact: those three guys have a combined 117.6 million Twitter followers and none of them have even turned 25 yet.
I think we can all agree that regardless of how you feel about the Biebs and his music or his personal life or anything else, he seems to be pretty goddamned good at a lot of different things. It's almost infuriating. It's far harder to kick the ball directly into the next at those beautiful angles than it looks. If you don't believe me, please grab a soccer ball, find the nearest park with a field and go try it. Unless you've ever played the sport you will feel incredibly un-athletic. I can promise you that.
While he was there he was also polite enough to take some photos with a couple of starstruck fans:
Buddies with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez too? Sure, no big deal.
And this is not the first time we've seen Bieber and Neymar kicking the ball around together, either. This Instagram video taken over the summer shows him holding his own with one of the world's best athletes.... in his own backyard.
