Seattle Sounders Highlights: When You Pull Your Hamstring While Celebrating A Goal
August 9 / Rick Chandler / SportsGrid
Chad Barrett gave the Seattle Sounders a 1-0 lead only 53 seconds into their match with the LA Galaxy -- nice cross by by Erik Friberg -- but then, hilarity tragedy struck. As Barrett was celebrating the score, he suddenly pulled up lame.

Adding insult to injury, the Galaxy are leading this one 3-1.
The incident begs the question, has there ever been a goal scored in professional soccer in which the scorer did not celebrate in some way? Is there such a thing as the soccer equivalent of scoring, and then handing the ball to the ref? I've been looking all day and have yet to find an example.
