Stay Trashy, Mexico: Trinidad & Tobago Earns Stunning 4-4 Tie To Win Group C At Gold Cup
Imagine if it's the NBA Finals, and LeBron is at the free throw line, and you and your fellow Warriors fans got to throw trash and other debris at him as he shoots a free throw. That's basically what's happening here as this Trinidad & Tobago player takes a corner kick vs. Mexico in Gold Cup group play on Wednesday.
T&T scored the equalizer on this play in stoppage time, despite the rain of debris, for a stunning 4-4 tie that won them Group C. The result knocked Mexico to second place. It was the first time that Mexico had given up more than two goals in a Gold Cup match, as both advance to the knockout round.
