With the US Women's National Team winning the World Cup, we'll pretend we Americans like soccer until the Men's team lets us down (as a US fan, you get to call it "soccer"). So while we're in this Golden Age of US Soccer, let's check in with the Men's CONCACAF Gold Cup. And as a US fan, you don't need to know what CONCACAF is.
Here's what happens when the Haitian defense does an impression of the Rockettes rather than plays defense:

As a US soccer fan, you might not know where either one of those countries is on a map, but you do need to know that they're in the same pool as the US, so a 1-1 tie is a good outcome.
And as a US soccer fan, you have the right to hate that a tie is a good outcome.
