Video Surfaces Of Roger Federer’s Wife Calling Stan Wawrinka A ‘Crybaby’ During ATP World Semis
La Femme Mirka: It seems that Roger Federer's wife is more central to his success than the average tennis fan imagined. Federer beat Stan Wawrinka in a three-set tiebreaker on Saturday to advance to the ATP World Tour Final in London, but not before some controversy.
It was believed that Wawrinka was arguing with someone in Federer's private box late in the match, and indeed, now it's reported that it was Federer's wife, Mirka, who was jawing with him.
Apparently she was shouting encouragement to her husband just before serves, and when Wawrinka walked off during one such incident, Mirka yelled "Crybaby!"
Here's the video:
This led to further trouble:
Wawrinka was so agitated after the match - which Federer won on a third-set tie-break - that the two men began arguing in the tunnel and had to be ushered into a makeshift gym at the side of the court to sort out their differences.
Apparently now, however, all is forgiven. That's Wawrinka holding up rabbit ears behind Federer during the Swiss Davis Cup team photo.

Federer, by the way, pulled out of Sunday's ATP Final against Novak Djokovic, claiming back trouble. But John McEnroe wasn't buying it.
