Tiger Woods Misses Cut At Open Championship, Media Delivers Hot Takes
Tiger Woods has been racking up missed cuts during his slow, sad decline in the years since his cheating scandal. On Saturday he reached a new personal career low:
His score of seven over par handed him a second straight cut at a major at St. Andrews in Scotland. This time around Tiger posted rounds of 76 and 75, missing the cut in two consecutive majors for the first time in his career. According to Twitter, this was apparently the final straw for many in the media who have been offering up the brilliant take that Tiger is...wait for it...over the hill.
Cue the tweets and headlines about how it's officially over for a dude who's clearly been officially over for a long time:
Yes, now is the time. I can't think of any other time over the past five years that anyone has ever been thinking that.

Three of the last four, guys. So sure I guess you could say it's the new norm if by "new norm" you mean "Tiger Woods has been falling from grace as an ever-diminishing shadow of his former self on the green for years now."
Another hot take about Tiger looking "done." What direction did you think he was heading before this Major? LOOK AT HIM:
Does that look like the face or hairline of a man that is anything but done?
This dude knows what I'm talking about:
Yes! In the name of all that is holy, please allow us all to deal with Tiger's sad dissent into retirement without having to read your uninspired headlines as you finally come to grips with it.
