Australian Kid Nearly Surfs Into Mouth Of Great White Shark
Fairwell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies ...
Eden Hasson of Sydney, Aus., was surfing at Samurai Beach in New South Wales last week, when he felt something thump against his board that he assumed was seaweed. It was only when he got back to the beach that his father showed him a photo of his near encounter with a great white shark.
"Shark's mouth was facing up looking like it was going to eat me," Eden told Australia's Today Show on Wednesday. "If I had seen it I would have freaked out and fallen off [my board]. I was just lucky that I didn't fall off."

"It ended well and it's a good story for him to tell on the first day of school for show and tell."

I see no way that Eden's classmates will now call him Shark Boy for the rest of the year.
