Since her loss to Holly Holm last November, Ronda Rousey has been a bit of a ghost. With her perfect record gone, Rousey retreated to heal up for the future and to make some major career decisions. With a burgeoning movie career and a WWE career in front of her if she so chose, Rousey has taken her time in deciding her next move.
Since the fight with Holm, along with acting in a few movies, Rousey has hosted "Saturday Night Live" and appeared on the cover of both The Ring Magazine and in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Sure Rousey would tweet promotional material, like a DraftKings sponsored interviewed with Odell Beckham or post an Instagram about Buffalo jeans, but what the future held for Rousey was never really clear.
Today, Rousey's latest promotional tweet for Reebok gives us a bit of a heads up at where her plans may lie. She may no longer be perfect anymore, but that's not going to stop her from coming back.
The commercial is one of those chilling ones, where Rousey essentially announces that she is ready to silence her critics. She is ready to get her redemption and come back stronger than ever. Reebok's new slogan is #BeMoreHuman, which is highlighting that humans aren't perfect.
While Rousey may no longer have the undefeated record she is still one of the biggest stars in the world. And that's pretty damn close to perfect.
