Andy Roddick Wishes “Stupid” Tennis Were More Like Pro Wrestling
After dropping his first round matchup at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, thanks in part to a point penalty for hitting a ball into the stands, Andy Roddick was a little peeved. He cited tennis' stuffy demeanor, and penalties like the one he incurred during his match, as the reasons why his sport gets worse ratings than WWE's Monday Night Raw (wrestling comments begin around the 30-second mark):
Personally, we think he's onto something: a ladder match in which the winner gets an automatic spot in Wimbledon intrigues us more than whatever the "Western & Southern Open" is.
