Meanwhile, In Wisconsin …
The most impressive part is that he bagged it using a Super Soaker.
So a Facebook user claiming to be this boy's grandma posted on Monday that the lad's name is Liam. Yes, he's wearing camo, and yes, this is possibly the cutest photo currently on the Internet that doesn't involve baby otters.
But on at least one Facebook page (we're not going to name it), this photo by Rene Charles has caused a bit of controversy.
Paige S King Oh, he's gonna be one of "those" men;( that treat animals & woman like trophies...great way to teach children "humans".
Christie H. Womack Yes because hunting animals automatically makes u also treat women poorly What...?
Sydney Michelle @paige you can shut up ! My whole family raises livestock and we love our animals like kids. We show them and work with them year round and would do anything for out animals even if it means we won't get what we want and guess what we are big time hunters. It is how we feed our family during the season. We sit down and pray every time we down a deer or a turkey for its sacrifice to feed us.
Tracy Marie Mcchristian Men who hunt ignore their families.
Sandra Bowersock I love it! My grandson is 9 and has killed 7 deer! Used as food for family. Quite the little provider.
There are many, many more comments on this page alone, mostly in the pro-hunting vein, because this is a Facebook hunting page. I'm sure the comments would be reversed if it were the Wildlife Advocate page, or whatever. And it just goes to show that the cultural divide in out country is still alive ... or, occasionally dead and strapped to the hood of the car.
