Obama Fires Back … At Michael Jordan's Criticism Of His Golf Game
President Obama isn't as bad a golfer as Michael Jordan claims, although his handicap has risen dramatically over the past three days. On Monday it was an 18, and by Tuesday night it was a Republican-controlled Congress. In an interview with Ahmad Rashad last week, Michael Jordan jabbed at Obama's golf game, calling him "A shitty golfer".
"There is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats... or the Hornets."
Obama has played a little more than 200 rounds of golf since he entered office: that being the subject of some criticism by his detractors. Of course Dwight Eisenhower played more than 800 rounds in his eight years as President, and Woodrow Wilson, in the midst of World War I, played 1,200. George W. Bush? 2,000 rounds of Wii Golf Simulator Pro. (Estimated).
