South Carolina Celebrates Back-To-Back Championships In The Most Dangerous Way Possible
It's a modern baseball tradition: the celebratory dogpile. What once was reserved for Major League World Series championships now regularly finds its way to regular-season walkoff singles. So it's no surprise South Carolina engaged in the practice after winning their second consecutive College World Series Tuesday night, though some non-team-members found being at the bottom of a pile of sweaty men wearing spikes on the bottom of their feet isn't the safest place to be:
Other highlights include the team trainer who can't-quite-jump-high-enough, the little boy who really has no place around a dogpile, and the woman who comes in from seemingly nowhere to fire some sort of weapon.
The celebration's warranted, though. South Carolina not only won back-to-back championships but set the NCAA record for consecutive tournament victories with an astonishing 16.
