Team USA Beats Russia 1-0 In Paralympic Gold Medal Sled Hockey Game, Backup Goalie Has Hilarious Reaction During Post-Game Ceremony

  • Jake O'Donnell

Backup goaltender Jen Lee’s reaction to getting his gold medal before his teammates was in many ways why the Paralympics are so amazing. The uplifting, cheerful spirits of these guys — who’ve overcome more than able-bodied people can really imagine — puts quite a bit into perspective.

Lee basically pretended to cry, as if he was the exhausted one who pitched the shutout today against the Russian side (it was actually Missouri-native Steve Cash). An awesome moment in an awesome tournament. Please donate to USA Sled Hockey.
