Vegas Helps You Pick Week 5 Fantasy DSTs
Once again, by looking at the Vegas lines, you can get a good read on the best defense/special teams to use if you are streaming DSTs in your traditional league, or if you are playing on Daily Fantasy sites.
Last week, we explained that you can look at the upcoming matchups on sites like VegasInsider.com, to find the lowest expected scoring games, and the teams with the largest point spreads, indicating a defense that should dominate.
While a low-scoring game is indicative of an offense not producing, it also probably means the defense they’re facing is probably picking up turnovers and sacks.
Week 5 Point Spreads and Over-Under Lines
By taking the upcoming matchups and looking at the over-under numbers, then subtracting the point spreads the favorite is expected to win by, you can get a great idea of how much a defense is expected to hold an opposing offense down to.
The numbers on the matchups are taken directly from Wednesday’s numbers at VegasInsider.com. The ownership percentages are from CBSSports.com’s Fantasy Football leagues.
