So This Guy Was Running A Meth Lab Out Of A Taco Bell, Say Police
I've heard of people selling weed from fast food drive-thru windows, but that's thinking small. Two men were arrested outside of a Taco Bell in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, when remnants of a meth lab were found inside the restaurant. Chicago Tribune:
One identified himself as a Taco Bell employee. The men were identified as 31-year-old Christopher Adam Matous and 56-year-old Kent Jerome Duby. They were charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. Matous faces additional charges including meth possession.
Taco Bell says in a statement that one of the men was an employee who's now fired. They say the restaurant will be sanitized before it reopens.
