So today Apple is scheduled to unveil the iPad Mini. Yes it’s true that there has been no official announcement about what new product they are launching, but we all know what it is. There will be more Google searches today for “iPad Mini” than “Presidential Debate” or “World Series.” So what do we make of this? Is this something that will change your life? I don’t know whether it will or it won’t, but I do know that Apple has us by the balls and it will sell millions of whatever device it unveils.
There’s something else that’s also consuming us in an obsessive way and it seems to happen this time of year, every year; our obsession with Fantasy Football. According to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association (FSTA), participation in Fantasy Sports has reached over 35 million adult Americans in 2011 and participation has grown over 60% the past four years, with 77% of those playing Fantasy Football. Growth in the Fantasy Sports industry is rampant and estimated to have had a $3 - $4 billion annual economic impact across the sports industry, with metrics in both participation and economics increasing at spectacular rates.
Partnering with the biggest and best players in the in the space, we at RotoExperts are intimately aware of the power of Fantasy Sports as we are busting at the seams with new products and services for our customers and business opportunities o-plenty.
Apple isn’t the only company setting the business world on fire. Stay tuned as we have some exciting things coming your way… (Clear throat – Hype, Hype…)
