I usually skip the awards ceremony so I was about to turn the TV off.  But something told me not to.  So glad I listened to the “inner voice.”    I’m still laughing……..

As a media website, it might be a good idea to discuss how poorly NBC handled covering the guy winning the tournament during the coverage.  Maybe the worst I have ever seen a major championship covered.  The final pairing, Hossler, of course Woods, Phil, and anyone who walked on to 18 green was more important than Simpson the whole day.

There’s nothing better than a little nonsense to deflate the  pomposity and false significance of a golf tournament that most of us will forget the name of the winner in a few days. It was the only laugh in four days of grimness.

Where was San Francisco PD who were, otherwise, so visible up to this moment? It’s fortunate the bloke meant Webb Simpson no harm, like with a whipped cream pie or worse!

not really….they stopped covering Phil and Tiger during the fourth round…You saw Tiger every once and a while, but Simpson was shown just as much as everyone else in contention (not including the marquee final group of course)
