Watch Phil Mickelson’s Putt For A Historic 59 Lip Out In Heartbreaking Fashion
Phil Mickelson had an amazing round today at the Phoenix Open, shooting an 11-under-par 60 to take the lead.
But while that sounds great (and is), he was putting on 18 for a personal-record of 59. Only five players have ever shot a 59 at a PGA Tour event. Just watch the putt, which goes from OMG IT’S GOING IN to WHAT JUST HAPPENED in a prolonged second.
Then again, if he made it, that would mean a better round, and a better chance at making more money. And that means more taxes.
