I had to break my “Don’t show kids crying about sports videos” rule for the Saddest Little Cardinal. He is too heartbreaking, and reminds me of me after the Knicks’ devastating Game 7 loss to the Rockets in 1994. Cry your little heart out now, tiny prince of Cardinals Nation. The future holds better things.*

As a bitter Rangers fan, this is music to my ears. As a full grown adult, I am reminded that I’m a bitter Rangers fan who was 1 strike away (TWICE!!!) from winning last year’s World Series. Grab some couch and watch Verlander win Games 1 and 7. It’ll make the kid feel better. It’ll also make me feel better about 2010.. >.<
