Radio Host Tony Bruno Did Not Have Nice Things To Say After The Phillies-Giants Brawl

According to Bay Area radio host Tony Bruno, the Giants are “gutless #!@%*#,” manager Bruce Bochy is a coward, and pitcher Ramon Ramirez is an illegal alien.

That’s quite a lot of anger and political incorrectness thrown together in a single tweet, so we can understand why Bruno deleted it and promptly posted this apology on his Facebook page:

I did remove my post and apologize for my comments regarding illegal aliens. I was angry and on the air and I stand behind my comments that Bruce Bochy is a coward, as are all managers who order pitchers to throw at guys just because their pitchers can’t get a guy out. All of you people resorting to name calling are more classless and vile.

With the Phillies leading 8-2, Ramirez drilled Shane Victorino in the hip during the sixth inning of Friday night’s matchup, inciting a bench-clearing brawl.
