Seattle Seahawks Fullback Michael Robinson Shot Video Of FedEx Field Before It Tore Robert Griffin III’s ACL And LCL

Before last Sunday’s NFC Wild Card game at FedEx Field between the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins, Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson shot video on his phone of the actual playing surface. As you’ll see, the field is awful – and that’s just in pregame warmups. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll called the field “horrible,” and the NFLPA is demanding improvements.

Robinson was outraged too, and he had a few things of his own to say:

“This is terrible.”

“I’m surprised they didn’t dump sand in the middle.”

“Pregame it’s going to be done.”

Only Dan Snyder would not invest enough money in his playing surface and inadvertently tear the ACL and LCL of his superstar quarterback.

ok seroiusly stop this stupid nonsense about the natural grass we have. it’s the same eff’n field they played on while going through their 7 game win streak, and they had no events in between. snyder has every capable means to maintain that field, but as a sports fanatic, i’m pretty sure he had some superstitious belief not to fk around with the field.

Why wouldn’t the team have a field maintenance crew taking care of the field year round. To stop taking care of the field because you are on a win streak seems off.

The soil looks dead; whatever caused the field to get this bad, started long before their 7 game win streak.

I don’t think Mike Rob (Michael Robinson) can shoot boring video. He makes painted dirt interesting. His “RealRobReport” is the best!
