Green Bay Packers’ Guard TJ Lang Has A Message For NFL Players Who Drive Drunk

The NFL has seen it’s share of DUIs lately: David Diehl, Aaron Berry (he was arrested again last night on three counts of simple assault), Nick Fairley, Marshawn Lynch, Kenny Britt, Justin Blackmon, Eric Wright, and Darrius Heyward-Bey, to name a few. Well, Green Bay Packers guard TJ Lang has taken notice and has message for his “co-workers.” It even includes a picture!

Agreed, TJ. Don’t drink and drive. Although we’ll have to agree to disagree on the whole “cheap” thing.

I drove a Yellow Cab Taxi in Tucson Arizona for two years. 1999, 2000. In Tucson, the Police would call Yellow Cab for a DUI infraction if it is the person’s first time getting a DUI. (Otherwise, its off to jail). One thing I noticed was that the cab fare for these DUI people was rarely more than $20, and NEVER more than $40. I have to agree with TJ Lang. Drink, enjoy yourself at a bar, all the fun stuff, then TAKE A CAB home. I had two groups of “regulars” (it’s a college town) every week. One was a group of guys from north Tucson, the other was the beautiful Amanda and Julie. Neither group ever got a DUI. (Interestingly, Amanda and Julie NEVER paid a fare, either)!! That’s right.
