Ray Lewis is a 13-time Pro Bowler, a two-time defensive player of the year, and a Super Bowl MVP. But there’s something about Mr. Lewis that is even more impressive than his on-field prowess: his ability to motivate the bejesus out of a roomful of people.

Earlier this year, Lewis surprised the Stanford men’s basketball team before the tip-off of its NIT championship game. They won. And then, earlier this month, he bespeeched the Loyola men’s lacrosse team before it took the field for its quarterfinal NCAA championship game. They won. Then, perhaps powered (in part) by Ray Ray’s powerful words, the Greyhounds won their first NCAA championship, over Maryland.
