What you may have missed this week…

Looking forward… Grab them now while you still can…

  • Andre Brown, New York Giants (Owned 25.5% NFL.com, 18.7% ESPN.com)

Brown will likely be the new starting running back when the Giants return from their bye in Week 10 vs. Oakland. Before suffering a fractured leg in the preseason, Brown was going to split time with David Wilson. Brown claims he’s “ready to go,” and there is a legitimate chance he could lead the Giants in rushing going forward. He’s a coaching staff favorite and can play on all downs…

  • Shane Vereen, New England Patriots (Owned 49% NFL.com, 71% ESPN.com)

The Patriots should see Vereen return in Week 11 on Monday night football against the Panthers. He suffered a wrist injury in Week 1 and was placed on short-term IR. Vereen should be a significant part of the Patriots offense upon his return and should be stashed in all fantasy leagues. To give you a sample of his all around skills, check out his production in Week 1 against Buffalo before his injury… 14 rushes for 101 yards and seven catches for 58 yards…
