Though you can play there in Madden 25, starting next season, the real San Francisco 49ers will have a solar panel-clad green structure, complete with an awesome mobile app that augments your viewing experience (
more on that, here.) Check out the specs, features, and newly released mock-ups of this feat of human ingenuity.
HNTB, an internationally renowned architecture firm and Turner Construction, will design and build the new Santa Clara Stadium.
2.Facade At Night
The new stadium will feature open pedestrian plazas, commercial community space, a 49ers team store, and a 49ers Hall of Fame.
3.Giant Pictures Of People
The stadium is functionally designed to create a building that can be used for a wide range of events including professional and college football, soccer, motocross, concerts, and civic events.
4.Northwest Street Entrance
The new stadium is located near several major highways and expressways including Highways 101, 237, 880, Lawrence Expressway, and San Tomas Expressway.
The stadium will be anchored on its corners by spacious entry plazas, creating relaxed and open gathering places. The main entry plaza, at the northwest corner of the stadium, will be open to the public year-round, providing striking views of the playing field as well as an opportunity for casual refreshment and premiere retail and community space.
6.Escalators Are Better Than Stairs
Levi's stadium will feature 30 escalators (Candlestick has six) and 17 elevators (Candlestick has -4).
7.The Green Room
The stadium incorporates photovoltaic panels, a green roof, excellent public transit access, convenient bicycle parking, walking path access from the San Tomas Creek Trail, water-conserving plumbing fixtures, sophisticated building control systems, recycled materials, and a long list of other sustainable design concepts.
The attractive white, painted steel structure of the stadium will create a unique viewing experience allowing people to enjoy not only the views to the field but also spectacular views to the surrounding Silicon Valley.
9.The Actual Football Part
The whole thing will cost $1.2 Billion.
10.Ball Out At The East Sideline Club
This is just ridiculous.
Candlestick currently does not have any luxury seating. Levi's stadium will have about 9,000 fancy seats.
Impress your friends by spending all your money on one of these things!
13.The Most Technically Advanced Stadium Ever?
Through partnerships with local, national, and international technology providers, the stadium will be a showcase for innovation in Silicon Valley. Featuring stadium-wide WiFi capability, mobile connectivity, IPTV, and colossal HD video boards measuring over 13,000 square feet, no one will miss a minute of the action
21,000 parking spots and 11 entrance ramps off the highway.
15.Football Stadium App
For those not around the 49ers facility, Levi’s® Stadium has been receiving plenty or web traffic and airtime. The latest buzz on the project comes from the mobile app currently being developed by the 49ers. The app is being designed to augment the game day experience for all visitors to the stadium.
