Cue The Funeral Music! Tim Tebow Was Picked Off Twice In A Row In Practice

As expected, Mark Sanchez outplayed Tim Tebow in the Jets’ third OTA today – it was the first one that was open to the media, and the first time we got to see Sanchez and Tebow on the field together.

Sanchez looked “crisp,” according to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, while Tebow went 6-for-8 in 7-on-7 drills. Most of his passes came out a bit high, according to the Star-Ledger.

A 6-for-8 outing doesn’t sound so bad for a guy who’s still getting used to the playbook, but the two incompletions were back-to-back interceptions (he was summarily chewed out by new offensive coordinator Tony Sparano). Naturally, a Jets beat writer took note in snarky, snarky tweet form.
