Funz Casino is an upcoming US sweepstakes casino that should be launched at some point in 2025. Information is slim currently, but I’ve done some digging and put together an initial Funz review.
The site will be operated by IGW Global who are an iGaming company based in Texas and you can currently sign up to the Funz waitlist to get informed about updates and when the site will launch. Below, I use the information I have, and common sweepstakes features to speculate how the site will work and what it will offer.
Sweepstakes casinos usually start with a welcome bonus that gives customers free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins and I presume Funz Casino will do the same. From my experience, I’ve found that an average welcome bonus includes 7,500 Gold Coins and 3 Sweeps Coins. If Funz Casino gives you anything above this then that’s an excellent welcome offer.
There may be a Funz promo code required and you can read more about the expected promos in our full review. Alternatively, you might just have to register a new account and complete a KYC check to get your free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Other bonuses I expect include a daily login bonus, referral scheme, mail-in bonus, and GC first purchase bonus.
For this Funz sweepstakes casino review I looked at the parent site – IGW global for inspiration. This website has a smooth and modern design and it’s clear they are competent when it comes to accessibility and usability. Funz should use these same features and if it uses a similar color scheme and style, it will be one of the better-looking sweepstakes casinos available. Common features I expect to be included are a primary pop-out navigation, logical game categories, plenty of game filters, and simple account management.
Most sweepstakes casinos do not have a downloadable mobile app. There are a few exceptions I can think of such as McLuck, but it’s more common for them to have a mobile-responsive version of the website. I presume that Funz will follow this trend and I checked out the mobile version of the IGW website.
It worked fine and it appears that the company understands the importance of mobile-responsive design. I expect that they will use a similar responsive style for the Funz mobile version which means that navigation and gameplay will still be easy. You will still be able to get all of the features from the desktop version, and hopefully they will use games from providers who place an emphasis on mobile optimized gameplay.
For my initial Funz review I considered how purchasing will work. Sweepstakes casinos typically have optional Gold Coin packages you can purchase that include free Sweeps Coins. I anticipate that Funz will feature such packages and common purchasing methods for these include Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Hopefully there will also be a GC first purchase bonus which gives you a discount.
Cash prize redemptions should also be available and these are typically limited to Bank Transfer or some e-wallets like Skrill. I predict that they will offer a minimum redemption amount of 100 SC or less, and there will be a 1x playthrough requirement for bonus Sweeps Coins that you have. Sweeps Coins redemption processing times are often slow, so I hope that Funz Casino will go against the grain and offer quicker redemptions.
Customer support is important for any sweepstakes casino if it wants to maintain its reputation. I’ve looked at the IGW support and found a simple email contact form. However, I don’t think this will be the only support method at Funz Casino. IGW is a corporate website so there really isn’t any need for anything like a live chat.
Due to the modern site design, I expect a modern live chat system at Funz. Perhaps they will use the common “multi-feature” live chat box that newer sweepstakes casinos are utilizing. This is a chat box that allows you to search through the help center and FAQs, but also send a direct message to the customer support team.
Aside from live chat, I expect standard email support and a detailed FAQ and/or help center that gives a breakdown of how the site works and answers common questions. There will also need to be a sweeps rules page that explains features like the mail-in bonus and SC redemption process.

For this Funz review I considered the licensing and security requirements and looked at what the top sweepstakes casinos do. Funz will NOT operate with a gambling license as this isn’t a requirement for sweepstakes casinos. It will need to comply with US regulations though, which means real money deposits or gameplay won’t be available, the games will always be free to play, and no purchase will be necessary to use the site.
The IGW website uses a secure HTTPS connection and SSL encryption for security. I also found a valid SSL certificate so I expect that Funz sweepstakes casino will use the exact same technologies. IGW also has great transparency for things like its privacy policy, terms and conditions, and business info so I presume that Funz will exhibit a similar level of information and detail.
A recurring feature of US social casinos is some type of program or system that rewards existing and repeat customers. This is most commonly a VIP club but it can also be a loyalty scheme, level-up scheme, or just a set of recurring bonuses. I hope that Funz will have at least one of these features. If it has a VIP club then I presume it will have multiple tiers or levels that you can progress through by using your Sweeps Coins or making Gold Coin purchases. Prizes will typically scale as you reach new tiers, and common bonuses include rakeback, cashback, GC and SC one-off bonuses, free spins, improved customer support, improved redemption times, and VIP hosts.
If a VIP club isn’t present, then I anticipate that Funz will offer the following promotions for existing customers:
Yes. I expect that Funz Casino will follow US sweepstakes regulations and comply by giving free coins and requiring no purchase necessary to play.
No. Funz will use virtual currencies like Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins for gameplay but you will be able to make cash prize redemptions for the premium virtual currency.
This is unknown. Hopefully, Funz Casino will be legal in at least 45 US states although some sweepstakes casinos are only available in 39 US states. Common exclusions include Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Washington.
This should include a free amount of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins that you get for registering a new account.
You will use free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins to play casino-style games. There will be cash prize redemptions available for the premium virtual currency after you have met the relevant playthrough and eligibility criteria.
Over time this Funz review will grow and I will update it when I get definitive information about things like the welcome bonus, game selection, customer support, and VIP club. For now, I advise joining the waitlist which can be found on the IGW website and adding this page to your favorites so you can check when I’ve updated it.
Due to the quality of the parent company IGW website I expect great things from this upcoming social casino and I’m excited for its launch this year. Hopefully you will be able to kick things off with a fantastic GC and SC welcome bonus, and then start exploring the casino-style games they’ve added at the launch.
The main feature of sweepstakes casinos is their games and I hope that the Funz sweepstakes casino will have at least 1,000 games as this is becoming standard for the industry. I would expect the following game categories to be apparent on release:
These are the most common game categories at sweepstakes casinos and we are moving away from sites only offering video slots. I also assume the games will be provided by a host of top developers like Relax Gaming, Booming Games, Kalamba, and Pragmatic Play.
No information is currently known about the coin system or how Funz Casino will work. However, we can make educated guesses based on what 99% of current sweepstakes casinos do. The standard system includes two virtual currencies – usually Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. They will be available for free via various means such as the welcome bonus, daily login bonus, and mail-in bonus. I expect the coins to operate as follows:
Exciting times are ahead and I can’t wait for the Funz app and site to launch. If the Funz Casino looks anything like the IGW website and at least has features comparable to average social casinos then I anticipate it will be one of the top launches this year. As more details become available, I will update this Funz review so make sure you bookmark the page and check regularly for updates. You should also consider signing up for the Funz waitlist on the IGW website as you will get notified when the sweepstakes casino is launched.
