To create this Playnomic review I’ve jumped head-first into this sweepstakes casino to see what it has to offer. From a first glance, it has a decent selection of games and fun Sweeps Cash draws.
But you want to know more than that, which is why in the below article, you can learn about all of this social casino’s features including the bonus offer, game selection, usability, and mobile accessibility. TLDR; Playnomic definitely has potential as a sweepstakes casino, but isn’t quite there and has a few areas to improve on.
To give you a quick summary of the Playnomic sweepstakes casino I’ve given a pros and cons summary below:
For this Playnomic review I was looking forward to registering and claiming a chunky welcome bonus… but there isn’t one. Playnomic gives you a first purchase bonus instead, and there is a free Token top-up bonus where you can get 1,000 Tokens if your balance is 0.
You can read our in-depth Playnomic promo code guide for full info on all the available bonuses, but I’ve given a quick-fire summary below:
The initial landing page for Playnomic looks decent, but when you get to the casino itself I was shocked by how basic it is. This has to be one of the most spartan sweepstakes casinos I’ve seen – you essentially have a white background, simple menus, and a no-frills approach to the color scheme and graphics.
I’m actually a fan of this approach – I don’t care about flashy graphics or animations – I just want to be able to play the games I want without any frustration, and in this regard, Playnomic delivers. It gives one of the easiest social casino experiences I’ve had and I find the simplicity a refreshing twist. I get that many people won’t like this though and will find the website design incredibly underwhelming.
The game filters and searchability are really good too – you have the main game categories along the top and you can then filter by specific game developers or filters like “most popular”. Everything else about the Playnomic experience is straightforward and easy-to-understand so try and look past the simplistic website design.
I couldn’t find a Playnomic app which was disappointing, but there is a mobile-responsive version. Funnily enough, the mobile version actually looks way better than the desktop website! It uses a stylish dark color scheme instead of the plain white background, and the usability is also fantastic,
I like that there is a horizontal menu at the bottom which has links to the Sweeps Cash prize draws, games, shop, and your account. There’s a nice big button to switch between Tokens and Sweeps Cash mode too and your current balance for both currencies is shown above this.
I spent plenty of time playing the different games too to get a feel for how they work. The slots loading times were a little sluggish for some of the Playson games, but other than that, I had no connectivity issues. The Playnomic Original games all loaded instantly and worked really well on my mobile.
For this Playnomic sweepstakes casino review I also looked at the purchasing options and banking system. No purchase is needed to play at this social casino, but there is a range of Token packages starting from $1 if you want to give your account a boost or get some bonus Sweeps Cash.
Purchase methods for the packages include debit card, credit card, and bank transfer and as far as I could see there are no purchasing fees. You have to verify your account and phone number before purchases are available. Sweeps Cash can also be redeemed for cash prizes if you have a minimum balance of 50 SC and meet the 1x playthrough requirement.
I tested the customer support options for this Playnomic review and found only email support. Not only that, but there isn’t even an email support form or ticket system. If you click on the contact option it literally opens a “mailto:” link that should then open your email client – that doesn’t even work properly.
The support is also limited once you login to your account. Click on your profile icon and you can then open the “Help and Other Information” tab. This has links to the email support, official rules, and a feedback option. I couldn’t even find a help center with a list of FAQs. Playnomic really needs to improve its support as this is one of the worst setups I’ve seen from a sweepstakes casino.

Playnomic sweepstakes casino doesn’t need a gambling license as it’s not a real money website. It does follow US sweepstakes regulations though by offering free play games and always giving you a source of free Tokens.
I tested the website and mobile website for common security features and found a valid SSL certificate and SSL encryption. For the Playnomic Original games, their RNG systems are also Gaming Labs Certified which is a big positive. Gaming Labs also test the randomness of the Playnomic Sweeps Cash prize draws.
Playnomic has a VIP program that has 4 tiers – bronze, silver, gold, and diamond. You get VIP points by using your Tokens and Sweeps Cash, but the website doesn’t provide any information on the exact rates. At each tier you also get the following bonuses which I assume are progressive as you move up the tiers:
I say that I assume this, as there are no specific details about these rewards. The VIP page lists these bonuses, but it doesn’t tell you what the rakeback percentage is, for example. Because of this, I really don’t know if the VIP club is worth it or not. From what I can see and my own gameplay, the VIP points you accumulate from using Tokens is practically nothing so you will have to use Sweeps Cash if you want to make quick progress.
Yes. Playnomic offers always-free gameplay via its free Token top-up bonus which means it complies with US sweepstakes regulations.
No. You use Tokens and Sweeps Cash to play the games at Playnomic. However, Sweeps Cash can be redeemed for cash prizes if you have a minimum balance of 50 SC.
Yes. Playnomic uses a secure SSL connection and has a valid SSL certificate for its website. The Playnomic in-house games and prize draws are also Gaming Labs Certified.
There are 200+ casino-style games in total which includes 150+ video slots from developers like Playson and a host of Playnomic Originals which are table games and arcade games like Plinko.
The free Token top-up bonus, daily login bonus, and by playing the casino-style games in Token mode.
I hope you’ve found this Playnomic review beneficial – although the website has some areas to improve, I still think it’s worth registering an account and having a go. With 200+ video slots to try from top developers like Playson and a great selection of instant win and arcade games, you will get good entertainment value. The website and mobile responsive version are also simple but especially easy to use. For Playnomic to become a top contender, it needs to improve its customer support, provide more game variety, and offer a proper welcome bonus outside the first purchase bonus.
Playnomic works with a range of reputable software developers including Playson, BGaming, Booming Games, Evoplay, Habanero, 3 Oaks, and Ruby Play. I think they would benefit from partnering with Pragmatic Play too though, as the total game library is around 200+ titles.
This is mostly video slots and you can try around 170+ different titles. I like the Playson slots the best as many of these have the Hold and Win feature where you can trigger respins and rack up large Token prizes. Games like Energy Coins, Coin Strike, and Energy Joker are great examples.
I enjoyed the Playnomic Originals section the best as this contains a mix of table games and instant win arcade games. You can play Plinko, Dice, Limbo, Keno, HiLo, Moonshot, and Mines. I also had fun playing blackjack and roulette and although the game graphics are pretty basic, you still get the same enjoyment.
To improve the game library further, Playnomic needs to expand its video slot offering, add more table games, and include a live dealer section too with live table games and game shows.
When creating this Playnomic review I found that Tokens were much easier to come by than Sweeps Cash. You effectively have an unlimited supply of Tokens due to the free top-up bonus, but Sweeps Cash are much more limited. This is primarily because there is no welcome bonus, but also due to the lower 0.50 value of the mail in request.
This is offset somewhat by the Sweeps Cash prize draws though as these prizes can be incredible and you can purchase tickets for 0.03 SC. Sweeps Cash can be redeemed for cash prizes if you have a 50 SC balance, and there is also a 1x playthrough requirement on any bonus SC you get.
Playnomic is nearly there! It just needs a few changes and improvements and it could be one of my favorite sweepstakes casinos. Right now, the game variety needs boosting, and it needs a welcome bonus. Regardless, I think that 170+ video slots can give you solid entertainment value, and the Playnomic Originals are also fun to play. If you give this social casino a try, remember to make use of the free Token top-up bonus!
