This week I’ve been getting JOLLY with a new US sweepstakes casino – Jolly Sweeps (yes awesome joke, I know), joking aside though, this looks to be an awesome site with a massive live dealer game library.
Based on that, I decided to create a full Jolly Sweeps promo code review and if you read on, I’ll start by discussing the welcome bonus where I got 5,000 Gold Coins (GC), plus some amazing bonus GC packages. After that, I’ll check out other prominent features like the VIP program, referral scheme, and Jolly Zone.
As a preface, like I said in my Zonko promo code review, I expect at least 7,500 GC and 2 SC from a sweepstakes casino’s no purchase bonus, plus some optional bonus GC packages. Jolly Sweeps nearly hits the mark here, but I do think it’s got slight room for improvement.

No promo code was required to claim the offer and while I do think the GC amount is a little on the smaller side, 3 SC are above average in my opinion.
Because of this, after my initial disappointment, I didn’t care – the 5,000 Gold Coins were more than enough to play with, especially considering the fact that you can play most of the games with as little as 0.50 to 1 GC.
Additionally, there’s a second part to the Jolly Sweeps signup bonus – some optional discounted Gold Coin packages which each give you a bonus in terms of the virtual currencies you get:

This is more like it! And while GC purchases are completely optional here, I immediately snapped up the $9.99 package as it’s some of the best value you will find at any US sweepstakes casino and it gave me loads more playability.

When you log in for the first time, the 5,000 GC and 3 SC will be automatically added to your account balance. The best feature for loyal customers at Jolly Sweeps is easily the VIP program, and it’s accessible to everyone – when you register your account you are automatically enrolled in the Guest tier.
It works via a standard progression system where you play games and get VIP Stars from challenges and other means, and these boost your VIP rank. The higher rank you achieve, the more potential perks and bonuses you unlock. I’ve given you a simple breakdown of the different tiers and perks in the below table:

Overall, I rate this as one of the better VIP programs – there’s a good selection of perks, and compared to some other ones I’ve tested, the VIP Star requirements for the different tiers are much more achievable. The only thing I would like to see is more transparency and descriptions for some of the perks. For example, there is no information for what the actual birthday gift is.
The more I delved into the Jolly Sweeps site, the more promos and features I found, and they even outstrip the things I found in my SweepsUSA promo code review. Simply put, I believe this site covers all of the main promotions I expect to see from a sweepstakes casino, including the mail-in bonus, referral scheme, and daily login bonus.
The first thing I saw was the referral program. Now, I’ve not really got a huge friend circle, so it has limited use, however, I certainly think it’s one of the top referral programs on the market, with relatively customer-friendly terms. First, you need to get your referral link which you can do by following these steps:

Click on the “Refer a friend” link in the side menu.
Copy your referral link.
Give your link to other people.
Sit back and relax.
After you’ve dished out your link, you’ve done the hard work. It’s now up to your friends – they have to sign up using your link, and then make $20 in GC purchases. If they do that, you’ll get a 20 SC referral bonus! This is awesome, and as far as I can see, there are NO limits on how many people you can refer to the site in this way, so the program has superb potential.
If you fancy doing a little writing then you can also send off mail-in requests for the Alternative Method Of Entry bonus. This is a classic promo featured at 99% of social casinos, and I found the exact same process when making my TitanTreasure promo code review, for example.
It’s simple – follow the instructions found on the Jolly Sweeps sweepstakes rules page, write your postcard with the correct message and unique identifier, and then send it off in the right envelope to their address. Provided that you got everything right, you’ll get 3 bonus Sweeps Coins. For context, mail-in bonuses are usually between 1-5 SC, so this one is a little bit above average.
The daily login bonus for Jolly Sweeps is a standard progressive bonus where you have the chance of getting GC and/or SC bonuses. It looks like there’s a progressive track that resets on the 7th day, so it’s in your best interest to log in each day, even if you don’t want to play games – you can still get your daily bonus and save the virtual currencies to play with another day.
One of the fun gamification features I found at Jolly Sweeps was the challenges and missions. These are a series of things you can try and complete to unlock either VIP Star or SC bonuses. Now that I’ve completed this Jolly Sweeps review, I can confidently say that it does an excellent job with its promotions. Yes, the 5,000 GC from the welcome bonus is a little underwhelming, but the playability is brilliant, and there’s also the optional bonus GC packages for purchase which more than make up for it.
I’m a fan of the VIP program, and the progression it offers, plus the other bonuses and gamification features they offer like the challenges, missions, and referral bonus all exceed my expected benchmark.
