NFL Week 13 Sharp Report
NFL Week 13 Sharp Report
Another strong 2-1 week for the Sharp Report picks with both underdogs winning outright. We are now 5-1 over the last two weeks as the NFL markets continue to sharpen. Teasing the chalk continues to be an actionable trend with two bad beats in primetime. The Eagles and Ravens both kicked through the backdoor and ruined the nights for Seahawks and Steelers backers. If your card is filled with the public chalk every week, then you should likely rethink your strategy. Lucky for you, the Sharp Report has your back. Here’s a look at three games on the board for Week 13 that present value.
Rams at Cardinals
This is the sharpest reverse line movement on the board this week, with the majority of bets on the Cardinals as a public underdog, but the line has moved in favor of the Rams, all the way up to the key number of three. Los Angeles leads the NFL in net yards per play and is a very underrated team analytically speaking. Meanwhile, since Arizona’s “Hail Murray” victory over Buffalo, they have lost both games. The Cardinals have also dropped four straight ATS. The final nail in Arizona’s coffin this week is they have dropped six straight to the Rams and have failed to cover in five of those losses. Sean McVay gets the job done in this tight NFC West match.
PICK: Rams -3
Eagles at Packers
As expected, the public is hammering Green Bay, but we have not seen significant line movement towards the Packers. The handicap around Philly is very two-sided. The Eagles offense has been absolutely atrocious this season, and Carson Wentz has a long way to go in terms of development. On the other side, Jim Schwartz has done an admirable job in solidifying the Philly defense, and Fletcher Cox is playing at an all-pro level. The Eagles also have a knack for playing close games; six of their last eight have been decided by six points or less. Motivation is also a factor here as Philadelphia is playing for its postseason lives while Green Bay has all but clinched the NFC North. The Eagles won this matchup outright as an underdog last season on a Thursday night at Lambeau, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s close again.
PICK: Eagles +8
Bills at 49ers
Buffalo returns to the scene of the “Hail Murray” just three weeks later and face a 49ers squad that is looking more complete with each passing week. We’ve seen this line flip with San Francisco now being installed as a favorite despite opening as an underdog. That’s a very bullish line move that makes us immediately look at the Niners. Brandon Ayuik returns this week from the COVID list to pair up with Deebo Samuel, who leads the NFL in yards after the catch this season. San Francisco’s defense is a top 10 unit that held the Rams efficient offense under wraps last week. This is a must-win for the 49ers, who probably need to win out to make the playoffs. Trust the line movement.
PICK: 49ers +2.5
