Great news being reported by Frank Seravalli, the NHL and NHLPA have reached a tentative agreement to get the 2020-21 NHL season underway.
Both parties need to have a member vote and there’s still that wrinkle to sort out about Canadian teams playing but nevertheless, hockey is on the horizon. January 13 is earmarked as the tentative start date.
The best part about all this is that we are that much closer to season and player props being updated ahead of puck drop in January. One important distinction is that with the shortened season, team point totals and player point totals will both be substantially lower than what we are used to. So don’t go ahead thinking that every over is an auto-play.
Stay tuned for NHL plays once FanDuel Sportsbook updates their NHL odds for the upcoming season.
