To say it had been a long time since Indiana had one at the Big House would be the understatement of the century. In fact, it feels like it has been a century since the Hoosiers won in Ann Arbor. That changed on Saturday.

The End Of The Big House of Horrors as Indiana Snaps 59-year Drought

For the first time since 1967, the Indiana Hoosiers (7-1) left Michigan Stadium with a victory. It was an offensive slog for both teams and IU only threw for 81 yards with one completion after halftime but the Hoosiers’ defense was awesome and led Indiana to a 13-6 overtime victory. IU Escapes the Big House With 13-6 Win

It wasn’t a secret that San Diego State’s matchup against Colorado State at Canvas Stadium featured two of the defenses ranked in the bottom six in all of FBS football in yards allowed and in the bottom eleven for points allowed. So when the Aztecs (3-5, 2-2 Pac-12) dropped a 56-49 decision on Saturday evening to the Rams (3-4, 1-2) that saw the teams combine for 1,149 yards of total offense, it was hard not to feel like Michael Bluth looking in the fridge on the television show “Arrested Development.”Here are three takeaways from SDSU’s second road loss in Pac-12 play and their 4th 100-plus points combined game ever:

Spear Points: Not much defense in Aztecs loss at CSU, Stone solid at QB, narrowed bowl lane

A full week later, it’s still hard to wrap my head around what we witnessed in college football last week.In unprecedented fashion, five of the top seven nationally ranked teams lost outright, throwing the sport’s balance of power into disarray.A lesser gambler might want to stay away from college football this week until things settle down, but we remain undaunted. For all of your college football betting picks, here are today’s TST Best Bets, brought to you by BetOnline.ag.
