Milwaukee Brewers Picked to Win the World Series in Six Games

After correctly calling the NLCS, Bob picked the Milwaukee Brewers to win the World Series in six games and claim the championship for the first time in franchise history.

He expects the Brewers to start slowly after a long layoff and would not be surprised if they lose one of their first two games in Milwaukee. He then sees them winning a couple of games in Tampa before closing out the series in Game 6.

Drawing on his experience covering the Tigers through two week-long layoffs, Bob said extended time off can disrupt a team’s hitting and timing. Even with productive practices, he believes game action is different. He also expects a low-scoring series.

On the managerial matchup between Pat Murphy and Kevin Cash, Bob praised both as great managers. He noted that Cash has been doing it longer and has done a fantastic job, while Murphy could earn National League Manager of the Year honors.
