Baylor Scheierman
Baylor Scheierman landed in Boston in the bottom half of the first round of the NBA Draft. The crafty scorer looked like a steak for the C’s, considering the value of the pick. While he still very well could be, early on he’s struggled to show the potential he displayed in college. The Creighton alum’s struggles continued against Denver and he hopes to get it turned around as the preseason continues.

Jaylen Brown
Fresh off an NBA Finals MVP, Jaylen Brown picked up where he left off. The Celtics star finished with a game-high 21 points, three assists, and one rebound while shooting 50% from the floor. After being snubbed from the Team USA roster, it's clear Brown feels he has something to prove which could be worrisome for the rest of the league.

Lonnie Walker IV
Lonnie Walker IV signed with the C’s just before training camp began. The microwave scorer’s addition to Boston had everybody wondering why the former Spur backup was brought in to play behind Derrick White. However, it was later revealed that Walker may be destined to spend time in the Summer League, which initially seemed shocking. However, Walker hasn’t made much of an impact through two games. In fact, he’s barely gotten on the court. And when he has, his game looks rushed. So far, the addition to Boston doesn’t look like it was initially envisioned.

Payton Pritchard
Payton Pritchard may be one of the most underrated scorers in the league. The Oregon product has shown it time and time again, and on Sunday, he continued to prove what he can do with the ball in his hands. Pritchard finished the game with 14 points, five assists, and two rebounds on five-for-seven shooting. It is a warm sight for Celtics fans who hope Pritchard can take another leap this season.

Jordan Walsh
Jordan Walsh showed promise last season for the Celtics in the Summer League and throughout G-League play. Many believed the versatile wing’s defense and ability to handle the ball could get him minutes on the court with the C’s regulars. However, after a one-for-four shooting day, Walsh looks primarily like a one-dimensional asset at the moment. His defense is solid, but his offense needs work before he can carve a larger role with Boston.

Sam Hauser
Sam Hauser continues to make strides in his development. The sharpshooter is not only one of the best spot-up shooters in the league, but his improvements on defense have turned him into a viable option for the Celtics. After missing only one shot on the day, his 15-point game on Sunday puts him on the list as a stud.
