And despite their poor showing in the regular season, the Heat always seem to find success in the playoffs when healthy. However, with Jimmy Butler getting older and Miami looking to improve their roster, Pat Riley and the Heat could be a team to monitor. With Miami missing out on Damian Lillard last offseason, they’ll likely be in the market for a big fish this offseason.

The Phoenix Suns had one of the more disappointing ends to the season after being swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves. With a new head coach in Mike Budenholzer and other potential moves coming in the front office, the Suns are in for an interesting offseason as the team hopes to contend for a championship next year. One move that has raised eyebrows across the league is the chance that Phoenix and Devin Booker could be on his way out. While Booker leaving the Valley isn’t guaranteed by any chance, here are five teams that could be a solid fit for the star guard.
New York Knicks
The Knicks were one of the teams heavily interested in bringing Donovan Mitchell and Dejounte Murray to New York when both players were on the market a couple of years ago. Although neither star landed with the Knicks, New York has maintained flexibility with the assets and players they could offer in a potential deal for the next star available. With Jalen Brunson’s emergence as a superstar, the Knicks have made it clear they will be aggressive to surround their point guard with talent to get them over the hump in the East. If Devin Booker were to become available, you’d have to imagine the Knicks would be calling, and they would have plenty to offer the Suns.
San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs struck gold when they landed the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. San Antonio landed a generational talent in Victor Wembanyama, and the Frenchmen took the league by storm, averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.6 blocks during his rookie of the year campaign. With Wemby ready to bring the Spurs back to their winning ways, pairing a player like Devin Booker alongside him could speed up the process tremendously.
Orlando Magic
The Magic are another young team that seems to be on the verge of being a serious contender in the Eastern Conference. With Paolo Banchero developing into one of the best young talents in the league and a bright coach in Jamahl Mosley leading the way, Orlando is rumored to be looking to make a splash this offseason. Considering Orlando’s young talent, they could make a trade work, and the Magic would be a team to monitor.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Sam Presti may have put together one of the more impressive rebuilds in recent years in Oklahoma City. Despite being one of the youngest NBA teams, the Thunder managed to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference this season. Not only are the Thunder young, but they also have plenty of money and draft picks they can use to bolster their roster for next season. If Devin Booker were to become available, putting him alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would be an absolute nightmare for opposing teams.
