Assuming this game stays in the trend of the two lower-scoring outings, I’ll take the odds that this matchup stays under the set total. A final score of 116-109 seems like a realistic outcome.

At 32, Jordan Clarkson continues to produce at a high level for the Jazz as one of the key veterans leading Utah’s young squad. The Missouri product averages 16.6 points on the season, shooting 37.3% from three. In seven of the Jazz’s last eight games, Clarkson has finished with 3+ made threes, leaving me confident he can get the job done again on Friday against a struggling Suns team.

The Suns made the move to trade for Nick Richards as the team continues to look for upgrades in the frontcourt that give them the best chance to win. Richards has struggled to fit into the Suns’ rotation so far, but one place that he’s left no concerns is his ability to crash the glass. The seven-footer averages 8.3 rebounds per game but can dominate the boards on any night. I like the odds that he has a big game for Phoenix tonight.
