NBA Cup Quarterfinals Parlay | Knicks, Warriors, Hawks, Rockets Top Picks

We have a doubleheader in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals: the New York Knicks will host the Atlanta Hawks before the Houston Rockets host the Golden State Warriors. It will be a great night of hoops, so we worked up a two-game parlay for some thrilling action.

Valued at +1300, let’s ride!

Legs 1 & 2: Jalen Johnson 15+ Points, 4+ Assists

Jalen Johnson has been one of the most underrated players in the Eastern Conference this season. We will double up on him for at least 15 points and four assists. Averaging 19.9 points and 5.5 assists, he’s been ultra-consistent, going for at least 15 points in 17 of his last 18 games and at least four assists in 18 of his last 20. Additionally, in his previous matchup against the Knicks, he scored 23 points and seven assists.

Leg 3: Dyson Daniels 1+ Three

Dyson Daniels may be a sleeper Defensive Player of the Year pick at +4000. We’ll look for him to make a small contribution on the offensive end by knocking down at least a single three, as he’s done so in 13 of his last 14 games.

Leg 4: Jalen Brunson 20+ Points

Jalen Brunson has recorded at least 20 points in ten of his last 11 games. There isn’t much more we can ask for from a star player in front of a national audience in a playoff-like atmosphere. While I am slightly concerned about Daniels’s presence on the perimeter keeping Brunson in check, star players rose to the occasion in NBA Cup play last season once single-elimination was reached. I won’t expect anything different tonight!

Leg 5: Karl-Anthony Towns 10+ Rebounds

Karl-Anthony Towns has been a machine on the glass all year, recording at least ten rebounds in 13 straight games leading into tonight and 19 of 21 games this season. That’s good enough for me!

Legs 6 & 7: Stephen Curry 3+ Threes, 4+ Assists

Stephen Curry has to combine to knock down at least three shots from beyond the arc and at least four assists in 17 of 18 games this season. Despite the Rockets’ defensive strengths against opposing guards, this is Curry we’re talking about. If anyone can make the Rockets’ young defenders look silly, it’s Steph.

Leg 8: Brandin Podziemski 4+ Rebounds

Given the Warriors’ matchup against the Rockets, their guards must be extra physical in the grass to combat what the Rockets will throw at them. That will include someone like Brandin Podziemski doing the dirty work around the glass. He’s only averaging 4.4 rebounds per game on the year, but he just recorded a season-high 11 rebounds against the Rockets last week. Let’s hope for a similar game script tonight.

Leg 9: Jalen Green 15+ Points

It can be challenging to gauge how the Rockets will approach a game on any given night offensively as they spread the wealth generously, forbidding a dynamic scoring threat like Jalen Green from going off as often as possible. The Rockets are eager to showcase how good they are on a national stage, and what better opportunity do they have than tonight? Green will want to lead the charge with everyone watching. He could cash this in the first half if he feels like it.

Leg 10: Alperen Sengun 8+ Rebounds

To close out our parlay, we’ll look to Alperen Sengun to grab at least eight rebounds as he’s done in 20 of 24 games this season, including beating the number in both previous matchups against the Warriors. Let’s ride!
