The NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 is set to take place from July 12-22 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Here’s everything you need to know to catch all the action.
Game and Broadcast Schedule
The 11-day event will feature all 30 NBA teams competing in 76 games, all of which will be broadcast live. ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+, and ESPN3) and NBA TV will provide comprehensive coverage. Fans can also stream every game on the ESPN App.
Opening Day Highlights
The Summer League kicks off on Friday, July 12 with seven games. ESPN’s doubleheader includes a highly anticipated matchup at 9:30 p.m. ET between the Atlanta Hawks, featuring No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, and the Washington Wizards with No. 2 pick Alex Sarr. Earlier at 7:30 p.m. ET, Dalton Knecht and Bronny James of the Los Angeles Lakers will face Reed Sheppard and the Houston Rockets.
NBA TV will begin its live coverage with the opening game at 4 p.m. ET, featuring the reigning Summer League champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers, against the Orlando Magic.
Key Games to Watch
- July 15: Detroit Pistons with No. 5 pick Ron Holland II vs. Houston Rockets at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV.
- July 16: San Antonio Spurs with No. 4 pick Stephon Castle vs. New Orleans Pelicans at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV.
Playoff Format and Championship
Each team will play a minimum of five games. The top four teams, determined by winning percentage in their first four games, will advance to the playoffs. The semifinals will be held on July 21 at 2 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET on ESPN, with the championship game taking place on July 22 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The 26 teams not advancing to the playoffs will each play a fifth game on either July 20 or 21.
