CSUB Roadrunners vs. UC Davis Aggies
Finally, we head out west for what will likely be an overlooked Big West contest. The CSUB Roadrunners invade the University Credit Union Center for a date with the UC Davis Aggies. The Roadrunners only have 11 wins on the season, but they've used their offense to speed past their opponents in all those victories. We've already seen them upset the Aggies once this season, and another upset win could be on tap Thursday night in Davis, CA.

(13) Arizona Wildcats vs. Baylor Bears
The 13th-ranked Arizona Wildcats enter Monday's battle versus the Baylor Bears as short +1.5 underdogs. As we'll find out, that distinction may be undeserved. Both teams play with offensive ferocity, but Arizona's pace could be the difference as they look to disrupt Baylor's timing. We've got the Baylor on upset alert early this week.
Villanova Wildcats vs. UConn Huskies
As usual, the Big East features some of the best basketball teams in the country. While the Villanova Wildcats and UConn Huskies are not nationally ranked, they stack up as two of the top contenders in the conference. Assuredly, UConn will open as home favorites over the Wildcats. However, Villanova can use the three-ball to keep pace, if not pull away from the hosts. The Wildcats are loaded with upset potential.
(7) Purdue Boilermakers vs. (11) Michigan State Spartans
After consecutive defeats, the Purdue Boilermakers are projected to open as road underdogs against the Michigan State Spartans. But you can't keep the Boilermakers down forever. If Purdue can stay out of foul trouble, they may be able to escape East Lansing with a win. Either way, this Big Ten showdown appears destined to exceed the total.
(6) Houston Cougars vs. Arizona State Sun Devils
The Houston Cougars survived a scare over the weekend, narrowly escaping Saturday's clash versus Arizona with the win. The Cougars might not be so lucky on Tuesday. For the third time in four games, Houston is taking their top-ranked defense on the road, this time against the Arizona State Sun Devils. We've seen how efficient ASU can be when they find their range early. If Houston comes out flat again, the Sun Devils could pull away.
Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Penn State Nittany Lions
Far from the most glamorous matchup this week, there's still a ton of upset potential in Wednesday's tilt between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Penn State Nittany Lions. Penn State is mired in a seven-game losing streak, recording just one win over its last 12. Nevertheless, they remain a potent offense and could catch the Cornhuskers sleeping on the road.
Providence Friars vs. Georgetown Hoyas
The Georgetown Hoyas and Providence Friars are too far back in the Big East to make a run up the standings. But we could see the Friars pull off an unexpected victory in Washington. Providence is far superior from range, holding a significant advantage in every three-point category. If they hold up tough in the interior, the Friars could use the three-ball to upset Georgetown.
Oregon Ducks vs. Iowa Hawkeyes
The Iowa Hawkeyes are learning that you can't win on offense alone. We expect them to open as short home underdogs against the Oregon Ducks, but we should see them overwhelm Oregon's defense. Iowa plays with pace and precision, netting them prestigious efficiency metrics on offense—characteristics the Ducks can't match.
New Mexico Lobos vs. Boise State Broncos
Several top contenders are emerging from the Mountain West Conference this season. Among those, we'll find the New Mexico Lobos, who have quietly played to a 22-4 record. However, the Boise State Brocos' best efforts have come in their friendly confines, where they stand an astounding 11-1. New Mexico may be favored at the outset, but bettors would be wise to get a piece of the Broncos.
Bryant Bulldogs vs. Vermont Catamounts
The American East Conference isn't brimming with contenders, but bettors should be aware of a potentially profitable moneyline play later in the week. The Vermont Catamounts host the conference-leading Bryant Bulldogs. Few teams have matched Bryant's offensive pedigree, but they will face a stiff challenge from the Catamounts' defense. With the home faithful at their backs, we have the Catamounts pulling off a massive upset.
