The Final Four is upon us, and the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the UConn Huskies in the second half of the Saturday night doubleheader. As a result, we have you covered with an ultimate same-game parlay.
Valued at +1475, let’s ride!
Legs 1 & 2: Tristen Newton 15+ Points, 4+ Assists
The UConn Huskies haven’t had a consistent scorer in the NCAA Tournament, as they’ve just consistently dominated with the “next man up” mentality. Still, we’re looking for Tristen Newton to establish himself early. Alabama will do everything in its power to pick up the tempo of this game. Newton is the man to excel in transition as a scorer and passer, and we’ve seen opposing guards dominate in this role against the Crimson thus far in the tournament. Averaging 13.8 points and 6.8 assists per game, we won’t worry too much about him cashing his four assists, but we think the matchup advantage is worth at least another 1.2 points to get us to the 15-point threshold.
Leg 3: Donovan Clingan 8+ Rebounds
Donovan Clingan has grabbed at least eight rebounds in all four tournament games thus far, so given that Alabama plays without a true center, Clingan should be able to dominate the glass.
Leg 4: Cam Spencer 4+ Rebounds
Cam Spencer has averaged 6.5 rebounds per game this tournament, and we need him to get us four tonight. That sounds good enough for me!

Leg 5: Mark Sears 20+ Points
For Alabama to have any chance to upset UConn, Mark Sears must have the best game of his life. Frankly, he’s their only chance at beating this UConn team. I expect him to take upwards of 20 shots regardless of how the scoreboard looks. Sears has had at least 20 points in nine of his last ten games and will want all the weight on his shoulders in this spot.
Legs 6 & 7: Aaron Estrada 4+ Assists, 4+ Rebounds
Aaron Estrada has averaged 5.5 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game across the four tournament games, beating the four-assist and four-rebound marks in three of four games. With Sears pouring in the buckets, I’ll trust Estrada to do everything else.
Leg 8: Rylan Griffen 10+ Points
Someone will need to step up besides Mark Sears to compete with UConn, and Rylan Griffen has shown the ability to get scorching hot from deep as he did in the Sweet 16 against North Carolina. He’s averaged 15 points over his last three games, so I’m looking for him to carry over that momentum big time here.
