Is Lamont Butler Playing Today?
Lamont Butler first injured his shoulder in mid-January and missed six games over two stretches. Butler then suffered a different injury in the same shoulder during Kentucky’s win over Oklahoma in the second round of the SEC Tournament. Word was that had Kentucky advanced, Butler likely would have been available.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, the fifth-year senior said, “It’s feeling better," speaking of the shoulder but kept his injury status quiet. Although wearing a shoulder brace, Butler did go through practice this week looking no worse for wear. All signs point to the efficient guard suiting up tonight against Troy.
