1. Clemson Tigers
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +220
After getting dismantled in the second half against Georgia in Week 1, the Clemson Tigers have outscored their next two opponents 125-55. The biggest remaining test on their schedule comes against Louisville on November 2.
2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +190
After picking up a signature win against Texas A&M to kick off the season, the Fighting Irish were upset at home against Northern Illinois. Go figure. Winning out will do Notre Dame a world of good, but there are challenges along the way, highlighted by Louisville and USC.
3. USC Trojans
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +230
Despite suffering a loss to Michigan in Week 4, the Trojans still have a victory against LSU in their back pocket. The Trojans will have tests remaining against Penn State and Notre Dame, but that's nowhere as difficult as the Wolverines heading to Ohio State.
4. Michigan Wolverines
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +600
Even with a victory over USC, it's hard to rank the Wolverines ahead of the Trojans right now. After getting blown out by Texas at home, the Wolverines will need to go on the road to Ohio State and pick up a victory in the final week of the year to have any shot at the playoff.

5. LSU Tigers
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +550
With matchups against Ole Miss, Alabama, and Texas A&M still on the horizon, the Aggies didn't do themselves any favors by dropping an early game to USC. Let's see how they respond moving forward before taking them out of the picture.

6. Texas A&M Aggies
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +370
The Texas A&M Aggies haven't done a great job of convincing anyone they can be a contender. Still, if they win out and only have one loss heading into their clash against Texas in the final week of the year, they'll have a shot.
7. Kansas State Wildcats
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +550
A blowout loss to BYU in Week 4 left the Kansas State Wildcats stunned. If the Wildcats win out and capture the Big 12 Championship, they'll find their way into the CFP.
8. Oklahoma State Cowboys
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +1000
It would have been an easier path had the Cowboys taken care of business against Utah. For now, their odds are slim, but it's not impossible they sneak into the dance.
9. Oklahoma Sooners
To Make the CFB Playoff Odds: +1300
With a daunting schedule still remaining for Oklahoma, it appears unlikely they'll make an appearance in the CFP this year. Still, this defense has shown out at times, which could pave the way with some upsets.
