College Football Week 3: Predicting the Outcomes of Every SEC Game

Kent State Golden Flashes vs. Tennessee Volunteers (-49.5)

Nico Iamaleava continues to look like a legitimate Heisman candidate after a blowout win against NC State in Week 2. The challenge isn't nearly as big in Week 3, and the Volunteers should have no problem dominating this matchup.

LSU Tigers (-6.5) vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

We haven't exactly been singing the praises of the South Carolina Gamecocks, but they've been impressive through two games. This spread caught our attention because it was under a touchdown. The Tigers haven't met our expectations, and the Gamecocks can keep this close at home. 

Prediction: Tigers 27, Gamecocks 22

Boston College Eagles vs. Missouri Tigers (-16.5)

There's a lot to like about the Missouri Tigers, but the Boston College Eagles have also made some noise. The Golden Eagles have a good enough roster to make this a game late. 

Prediction: Tigers 30, Eagles 21

Tulane Green Wave vs. Oklahoma Sooners (-13.5)

It hasn't been an electric start to the year for the Oklahoma Sooners. After a tight affair last week, this is an excellent opportunity for them to bounce back and put up some numbers. 

Prediction: Sooners 30, Green Wave 13

Texas A&M Aggies (-3.5) vs. Florida Gators

This is an interesting spread to follow. The Florida Gators looked much improved with DJ Lagway under center. Still, the defensive prowess of the Aggies wins out here in this SEC clash. 

Prediction: Aggies 26, Gators 21

UAB Blazers vs. Arkansas Razorbacks (-24.5)

After falling just short against Oklahoma State in Week 2, the Razorbacks will look to bounce back convincingly as a sizable favorite. This team can put up offense, which should continue in this Week 3 clash. 

Prediction: Razorbacks 45, Blazers 21

Ole Miss Rebels (-22.5) vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

The Ole Miss Rebels have looked the part of a national title contender early on. It won't be a cakewalk in Week 3 when they visit Wake Forest, but the Rebels should find a way to get it done on the road. 

Prediction: Rebels 38, Demon Deacons 24

UTSA Roadrunners vs. Texas Longhorns (-35.5)

Is this a potential letdown spot for the Texas Longhorns after their emotional victory over Michigan in Week 2? Under the lights in Texas doesn't scream underwhelming performance for the Longhorns. 

Prediction: Longhorns 42, Roadrunners 6

Vanderbilt Commodores (-10.5) vs. Georgia State Panthers

Expectations aren't high for the Vanderbilt Commodores, but they deserve some credit for their 2-0 start to the season. This is a matchup that the Commodores should be able to pounce on again and cover the number. 

Prediction: Commodores 28, Panthers 16

Georgia Bulldogs (-24.5) vs. Kentucky Wildcats

This is a recipe for disaster for the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 3. They typically play the Bulldogs tough, but the Wildcats' offense leaves a lot to be desired. Georgia continues its dominant start to the regular season. 

Prediction: Bulldogs 40, Wildcats 6

Toledo Rockets vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs (-12.5)

Mississippi State isn't exactly a program we have much confidence in. Despite being double-digit favorites, the Rockets have the type of roster that gets a back-door cover on Saturday. 

Prediction: Bulldogs 35, Rockets 25

New Mexico Lobos vs. Auburn Tigers (-28.5)

It would be an understatement for the Auburn Tigers to say they were disappointed to lose as a sizable favorite in Week 2. This is a nice spot for them to bounce back and find their offense again. 

Prediction: Tigers 43, Lobos 18
