The Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams renew their annual rivalry with a contest this Saturday night in Fort Collins. The Buffaloes enter at 1-1 after an unconvincing win in their opener, followed by a humbling loss in Lincoln at the hands of Nebraska. Colorado State is also 1-1 with an opening-week shutout loss to Texas and a win last weekend over Northern Colorado. The Buffaloes have won six games in a row in this series, including a thrilling double-overtime victory last season in Boulder. Both teams have many questions entering this matchup, so what should you make of this 7.5-point line?
We’ve got you covered with our favorite plays from the upcoming in-state rivalry clash.

Colorado at Colorado State Best Bet ATS: Colorado (-7.5)
The Colorado Buffaloes looked awful last week as the offensive line was again overwhelmed. Colorado seemed utterly disinterested in running the ball, even when the Nebraska defense was playing with light boxes and begging them to run it. The offensive line continues to look like a weakness, and Deion Sanders has no answers. Colorado State’s defense might be the one-week cure for what ails them. The Rams allow 34.5 points per game and are 117th in the country against the pass. They don’t have a pass rush that should cause problems, and Shedeur Sanders should have some time in the pocket to operate and find his weapons downfield. The weak Colorado State defense is enough to give the Buffaloes the nod at -7.5.

Shedeur Sanders 300+ Passing Yards (-154) and Jimmy Horn Jr. Anytime Touchdown (+100)
Colorado State has a woeful pass defense, and Shedeur Sanders will be given every opportunity to rack up big numbers after last week’s disappointing contest at Nebraska. Travis Hunter is the obvious choice to score, but the star playmaker doesn’t represent good value, and you can grab secondary target Jimmy Horn Jr. at +100 to score a touchdown. Hunter will draw CSU’s top defenders and face some double teams, leaving Horn Jr. open to make plays. He’s good value at +100.
