Nonetheless, the Trojans will use this as a bounce-back game to prepare for a tough end-of-the-season stretch.

Sam Houston Bearkats (-5.5) vs. Florida International Panthers
The Bearkats enter their road battle with the Panthers as betting favorites to win. Despite the odds, Florida International has its sights on a win in front of its home fans. Unfortunately, Sam Houston will be too much for FIU to handle during the Week 9 matchup.

UTEP Miners vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (-6.5)

Liberty heads on the road as heavy favorites over Kennesaw State and understandably so. The Flames have been on a terror to start the season and enter this matchup undefeated. Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders vs. Jacksonville State Gamecocks (-20.5)
The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders head into Gamecock territory for a showdown with Jacksonville State. JSU is looking to protect their home field and as betting heavy favorites, many expect them to do just that. Middle Tennessee will keep the game close through the first half, but the Gamecocks will prove to be too much in the second.
